Just finished this class - it was my pick for the 2 wk Root to Rise challenge. And challenge me it did - but in a good way. I feel energized now. Great class - great instructor. Plan to check out more of Robert s classes.

Great challenging workout that also focuses on stretching body parts out that you challenge in the first half. Wonderful after a long week of travel/sitting around.

Good intermediate class more power yoga than vinyasa. Loaded with squats and chatarungas, some nice stretching at the end. Sequence is very repetitious but not so interesting ie with add ons each sequence.

I was avoiding power yoga for long time. Did it finally. May be the class is not up to my beginner power level, but I enjoyed it. Thanks Rob. The music during the second part of the class was too loud. It was difficult to concentrate to Rob s teachings.

This is more of a fitness class that incorporates asanas rather than a yoga class. The first part is a lot of push ups and chaturangas, so if you have any shoulder or elbow injuries it may not be for you. The second half of the class is lower body stretches. Well-instructed.

Great weeknight class, when you re tired but don t want to skip a workout. Challenging, but won t wipe you out, with yummy stretches at the end. New Age music didn t quite do it for me, but I ll come back for the flow.

The squatting sequence really got my heart rate up in a creative way and I was dripping sweat by halfway through. This was followed by an awesome hip opening sequence that left me feeling just wonderful in every way. Thank you for this class!

Love Robert s classes! This one starts out quite energetically and really had me sweating with a series of push ups, side twists, hamstring stretches and squats. But, then he takes you into a series of hip openers and the overall effect is feeling ready to face the day strong and stretched out! His moves are always simple and he takes you through how to get the most out of them!

This was my first class with Robert and I loved it. My wrists did get a little sore with the push up sequence and I found some of the background music louder than I would have preferred. Great class.

I really enjoyed this class as part of the 2 week challenge. I liked that it was a power class, but we didn t do long holds. We flowed through power moves. That makes it much easier to enjoy the class when you aren t counting seconds until you can release the hold! Thank you Robert!

This class is awesome! I will be adding it to my regular rotation for sure. I was a bit afraid of this class because of the push-ups, but the squat/push-up flow is really quite awesome. Tough, but powerful. Once you get through that, the remainder of the glass has good hip openers and relaxing poses. A great and balanced session!

The multiple movements in the first sequence got a little tedious. I found myself swinging in and out of poses (especially the twists) as we counted to 5 rather than having a moment to feel pose more deeply. Still a good mix of a challenge and some great stretching and relaxation. One of the songs in the background had a speaking component, which made it difficult to hear some of the cues.

Definitely different. The only problem I had was so much time on the wrists. This isn’t good for people with arthritis or any kind of pain in the hands/wrist. Otherwise, I think it’s fun and interesting.

Day 4 of the 2 week yoga challenge. Wow. This was challenging as Robert indicated but possible. There were no advanced difficult poses but rather standard flow with increasing reps that gave a powerful session. Liked Robert s style and clear instructions. Thank you.

This is the first class of Robert’s that I’ve taken and I quite liked it. Lots of movement and heat-building for the first half. Pretty challenging actually but in a good way. I modified the push-ups because of my shoulder but still it felt good and like I was working hard. I really enjoy practices where you spend time building heat and then take advantage of that heat to really get into a stretch tight spots. This practice spent a lot of time stretching the hips which is always good. No crazy poses. Just intelligently sequenced poses meant to get to the point. Really great practice and I think it’ll become one of my go-tos. Plus the time just flew by. I barely felt the 50 minutes pass. Love it.

I wanted to quit this class at one point, but I stuck with it. Eventually I found that rather then get more difficult, as my body woke up it got easier. By the time it was over I was wanting for more. I’ll probably be a little sore later but I so glad I did it. Definitely give it a try..

That class was hard! I love the newspaper cue in chair. That was an amazing difference. Through the squat sequence I felt the cues a little fast, even with Roberts saying go at your pace. If I did I would miss the cues. Overall, two thumbs up!

Just what I needed today on the first day back at work after the holidays! A great challenge with a nice cool down. As we progressed in the squat salutations, the movements became easier as my muscles loosened up. Left me feeling refreshed and relaxed! Definitely one I ll come back to after a stressful day.

I just tried this class for the first time and I will definitely be revisiting. Robert gives very clear cues and the music is nice. Tough sequences followed by really nice hip openers. Finished the class feeling wonderful!

Great class! I love incorporating pushups into my yoga practice and the shoulder opener afterward felt heavenly. As someone who does a lot of strength training the hip openers in the second half of the class was wonderful and felt designed for athletes. I hope to find my classes like this!
