This practice offers some play in balance, stretches the key sticky areas we all have, works on some strength (something we all need) and will sharpen your listening and paying attention skills. Throughout the practice you will be prompted to breathe, take a few deep and releasing breaths, releasing some surface stress or tensions and freeing not only the body up but the mind too! I really enjoyed this practice. It’s an excellent way to start the day. Lots of breathing and long stretches, opening up tight parts of the body. I appreciate Sidoti’s style tremendously. Very calming and lots of opportunity for modifying poses and connecting the practice to everyday life.

This is a really good atretch and strenghthener. Some holds are almost yin-like in length. Simple but challenging. I did this at the end of the day rather than the beginning and really enjoyed it. Not a crow fan, though. Just stayed with the squat.

Really nice stretching I needed after shoveling. Nice slow pace for days you aren t looking to sweat. Confused by the photo though as we never did this pose with the strap. If this is for a different class I d like to try that one too.

Robert is an amazing teacher - one of my favorites! This class really DID give me the "best day ever" feeling to start off my day. I love the way he gets you ready for poses and progresses. Truly enjoy the little tips and reminders of things to do, not only in the poses, but throughout the day.

Please, less talking about things that dont need to be said throughout the class. The running commentary disrupts what could be a nice practise. I gave up half way through the class and chose a different instructor. Sorry to all the guys on yoga download but in my albeit limited experience, this is a consistent observation of your teaching styles - stick to teaching the class, not talking so much!

I am an advanced beginner. I found the cues helpful. I also found this class enjoyable but challenging as I have very tight hip flexors and I need to continue building strength in my upper body. Those who are intermediate or advanced with nice stretchy hip flexors may find the poses easy and unchallenging. But I enjoyed the class, but for me it was definitely NOT everyday namaste.

I noted, as another reviewer did, a lot of instructions for extremely basic poses. At first I thought it was just this instructor s interpretation of "Advanced beginner" but it also seemed inconsistent -- there was lots of cuing for really basic stuff but none at all for bridge. There also didn t seem to be much of a flow, just sort of what the instructor felt like doing, and with the steady stream of talking I didn t get into much of a meditative state. Lots of good deep stretching overall but I thought I d mention these points so others are aware.

I liked this class for a morning workout. It s slow and steady and progresses nicely. Holding the poses helps strengthen and some of the poses really stretch you as well. I didn t find there was too much chatter as it was relevant to the situation. It s a nice slow class that you will feel.

Great class! I am just getting back into my practice after a month off and i was intimidated to jump right back into an hour-long class. But this was just what my body needed! The side stretches were amazing and the camel progression helped me feel different things than I normally do (it s my least favorite pose). I m really enjoying the teacher s style. Thanks again!
